From The Ground Up Foundation is a 501(c)(3) volunteer-led organization providing free, trauma-informed recovery services to K-12 aged child survivors of human trafficking in Florida.
Through equine therapy, healing camps, monthly support groups, and community outreach, we help children rebuild their lives with dignity, safety, and hope—at absolutely no cost to them or their families.
Every program is free, trauma-informed, and designed to meet children where they are.
Partnering with local equine centers, our certified program uses the healing power of horses to help children process trauma, build trust, and develop emotional regulation skills.
Our annual camp brings child survivors together for a week of art therapy, outdoor activities, peer connection, and guided recovery in a safe, nurturing environment.
Age-appropriate support groups provide ongoing community, peer connection, and professional guidance for children navigating the journey from survivor to thriver.
Florida’s Address Confidentiality Program (ACP) provides a legal substitute address for survivors of trafficking, stalking, and domestic violence. We help families understand eligibility, navigate enrollment, and maintain their safety.
